Nicholas Homoky (born 1950) is a Hungarian-born British ceramic artist known for transforming traditional bowls, teapots, and vessels into sculptural, often playful works that blur the line between functional pottery and modern art. He studied under the influential potter Hans Coper at the Royal College of Art and became one of Britain’s leading porcelain artists.

Homoky often made visual jokes with his ceramics. One of his best-known works is a “double teapot,” where the lid is itself another teapot, with drawings of teapots on both pieces, turning an everyday object into a conceptual puzzle.
